Got in an argument with the Police over the Dartford Bridge one, he was saying we (was with a mate) couldn't take photo's of it because it's a terrorist target. Little did he know it was on a 30 second shutter speed whilst I we were talking
And the night club one the bouncers and manager came running up to us (we were in a multi storey car park oppisite) asking why we were taking pictures of us and I felt proper threatened by a few hench guys
It's all good.

The street lights have produced that nasty orange glow as they always do, maybe some PP to balance out the colours would yield even better results.

Somebody mentioned something about a RAW editor yesterday so I thought it might not be the best program.

Nope it was all one shot mate.
How do you build it up? Just later the images and change transparency or something?

was gonna say, how do you lot get such a weight of traffic at this time of year? its only dark at 9 - 10 pm and when I go its always dead, sounds like multiple shots are the way

all you have to do is lock off the camera and take multiple photos. you can then import them into a photoshop document as different layers and just adjust the transparency of each layer to round about 60%

imagine taking one in the day, waiting for it to go dark then taking one of the lights, then merging them so the light trails were going past in the day

Wouldn't really work in the day as it'd let too much light in.

30 seconds shutter speed on most of them, 100 ISO.

get a remote switch and a dark stretch of road and you can expose for a lot longer and reds seem redder
also adobe photoshop has a raw editor integrated. cs3 is the best for it as it has the latest updates as regards to different camera raw files

I'll have to try and get hold of a copy of that then as I've got Elements 3.0
