i finally got my cigarette lighter wired up now and now its time to buy a sat nav but i don't know which one to get because there is that many

must be simple to use
good quality (no suckers falling of window ect)
reasonably priced

what do you recommend?

Ive got the TomTom One, perfect for what i need, mines the older model though, whereas the newer model now tells you where speed camera's are, i need to update mine.

The sucker is wank on it though, unless you really force it onto the window, then its fine.

i got a TomTom One, does everything i need and they are quite cheap, cant go wrong really...

just bought a garmin nuvi 300

online mostly £170-180

comet doing it half price reduced from £200 to £100!

i have a tomtom go 300... only thing that doesnt impress me on it is that you cant put in a full post code.. you can put the first bit and then you have to know the road name.. which is a bit lame

wel;l if you place it so its kind resting on the dash its perfectly fine..honest LOL!

thinkyou can egt another holder thing for the window though... you get basic one in the box...

i just looked in box and found a leaflet in box about receibing FREE SERVICE updates - just going to get my step dad to plug my tomtom in and download some free stuff.. for the speed cameras...

also you can 'tomtom' map share

my tomtom stay's on the window fine, just wet the sucker slightly, and push it on hard, and it's spot on

also, my TT One has full postcode search too etc etc

and you can choose loads of different voices...some are annoying though, especially if you have american people talking, translation might not be the best idea for somthing telling you where to go

Navman S50 is for you. Sticks on the window perfectly, and has all the speed camera warnings. Tells you if you are speeding too.
