Middle button on my mouse has stopped working.

Contacted Logitech and had to send them a couple of pictures and information etc.

Latest reply I have from them is, and I quote,

'I thank you for sending us the front and the back view of the intact picture of the mouse. I request you to destroy the mouse with the help of a heavy object and send us the picture of the destroyed image with the reference number (080602-xxxxx) placed next to the device.

Once I obtain the picture of the destroyed device, I would be placing an order for the new device free of cost.'

Thank you for contacting Logitech's Electronic Technical Support.

I am sorry to learn that the Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless mouse is defective and you would like to obtain a new one.

I thank you for sending back the destroyed picture of the mouse. I am shipping you a new Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless mouse free of cost.

For your reference your Fulfillment ID is 080602-001977.

Unfortunately, only the EU version of the mouse is available for replacement. I have placed an order for the EU version of the mouse. You can use this new mouse with the power supply of the old mouse or use appropriate pin converters with the new mouse.

Think i'll wait for the 'EU' version to come and complain it blew up when I plugged in and ask for a nice new mx revolution.

I was hoping thats what they would send me

I originally bought my mx1000 about 2 and a half years ago, took it back because I was getting random double clicks.
Had that one for about a year and a half and now getting a replacement again, not doing too bad considering I only paid 36 quid back when they were still 60

Got my revolution through today, quite a bit of engineerin.

The middle mousewheel electronically switches between either normal click, click, click scrolling one bit at a time or the flywheel mode where it just keeps spinning
