You need a bt line for anything that isn't cable, ie anybody apart from virgin.

I have TALKTALK yes i know but they have been problem free with me
If you have a phone line box in the house they will conect that up you will get phone with free calls after 7pm and 8meg broadband for £16 a month
People go on about how shit they are but i havent had any problems with them, We have two phone lines and two broadband connections from them in the house
Always been 100%

Both ourselves and 3 do 30 day rolling contracts... and no, no need for a contract mobile at all
Basically you just plug a USB stick into your computer and you're online Have a look throguh the link, only possible problem could be where you live but I dont know where you live so couldnt comment

If you have anybody else apart from virgin the broadband uses exactly the same cable as your phoneline does.
Mobile doesn't require a mobile contract but if you want to ever download anything or are more than a light user it's probably no use.

Requires a BT line!
What John says (unless you live in C.London or an airport for now lol)
Most areas get 3.6Mbps or 1.8Mbps

It's more the download limits, 3 and 5 gig are nothing unless all you do is browse webpages, no video etc, in which case it would do fine.

You still pay line rental to them though don't you, which is the same as paying it to bt.

18 month contract, £15 per month, 5GB download limit, speeds up to 3.6Mbps
Cheap and cheerful unless you want to download movies/films etc

Agreed... anyhting to do with CPW (including AOL which I thought was quite apt when they bought it!) is shite, utter shite!
