What cars have the best pump (or have a pre heater) to run on veg oil?
Fancy a change of run around that i can run on the cheap.

After reading up on this you only really need a heater if you run it 100% on vegghie oil.
But a pug 306 td seems to be best for running on veg oil imo.

Needs to be a bosch pump though, wont run on a lucas pump.

i ran my astra on bio and veg oil. never missed a beat and that was on 100% oil not mixed. its for sale aswell if your intrested £600

I don't know. It's just a filter with a heater element in it. Nearly all diesel engines have them anywany.

If you use it as fuel then you are meant to declare it and pay fuel duty. The price of veg oil is increasing because it is being used as a fuel as well as a cooking product, not because of the government slapping extra tax on it - it is already taxed if used as a fuel.

Amazing though,they go on and on about going green,veg oil gives of no carbon emisions if used 100% yet you still pay tax.
that just proves its more about raising money than going green.

which tells you how much carbon emisions is given off in the manfacturing process and how much it absorbs while growing.it does indeed make it carbon neutral
