Petrol is actually making me sick
the greedy government get 50% of it in tax
i think its time to immigrate to trinidad and tobago, 25p a litre

nah its 50%, i watched anglia news this evening
about 20% is production costs

They take at least 68p duty before tax so it's more than 50%

I had a 5p/litre off voucher, taking it to 114.9p/litre.

I thought "ooohh, nice and cheap".

I saved £1.70

Exactly - it just shows that a price increase from 114.9p to 119.9p doesn't really make too much difference, imho.

saves me 70p. Then I get 3% back on my fuel purchases so on a £45 fill up I gain £1.35
