I was talking about getting a picture put onto a canvas. Well I just got it back from the printers and I am really pleased with the results
CRAP picture to show some scale
Its 24" x 16" and I am really pleased
The picture was the same that I had on my desktop not too long ago:

www.c41s.co.uk
They are a printing shop in Chester. The cost was £60 which isnt too bad when you consider the cost of all the online printing places differ by maybe £10 at the most.
The finish is pretty good aswell and I have been told its been sprayed with a protective spray that makes it water proof, So it means I can get that picture of Jas done on a canvas and it may last longer....
I will go get a side view of it now as well hang on...

Will have a look, you know when people get about 6 canvas's that size, but it's one image. That's what I want, (with gaps between the canvas) but at £60 a pop that won't be cheap

Looking good Doug
I had one printed up just after Christmas to about the same size, also cost £60 from local framing shop. Looks too small though, wish I'd gone for A1, that was about £80 IIRC

You get what you pay for in life tbh. Prefer it to be printed on decent canvas with good ink and a good protection spray over it rather than get a cheaper one and have to get it re-done at some point

Same here - thought I can either pay £40 over the net and hate it, or £60 2 minutes down the road and have it done by someone who at least knows how to frame properly rather than a monkey in a factory.
That said, next time I'll try the net, to compare the difference for myself

Gicclee (sp) prints are awesome, especially the varied size sunsets.
