Started about 3 years ago, stopped, and just recently started again. I'm having lessons later in the month as I want to get the basics sorted.

I play golf regularly, relaxing actually but we have golfing holidays to Portugal every year, although I'm not brilliant at it.

I've just started trying to play, just been going the driving range with my mate to get the basics sorted. Hopefully i'll be able to get myself to an ok level so I don't look too stupid when I go round a course.

Started with the driving range for months but only played 2 full rounds of golf.

Need to find people to play it with as my mates seem to think it's an old mans sport

Been playing for about 3 years now and have steadily improved to a handicap of 18 however I seem to have hit a brick wall in my improvment, hoping my new irons and putter will make a difference

Good thing about golf is when your knees have started clicking and you can't play football anymore, you can still swing a club for another 20 years after.

I've played for years off and on but have been playing alot more this year, I'm off 12 at the moment however I reckon I should be into single figures soon.
Should have some new irons coming my way in the next couple of weeks, I've asked for a set as my 21st birthday present from the family.
Also, I am a fair weather golfer, no chance you would get me swinging the golf sticks about if it was wet!!

That's exactly how I started playing. I had two serious knee injuries playing Rugby and and my Surgeon told me I wouldn't be able to play again so I had to find myself a new sport to satisfy my competitive streak. the great thing is now alot of my mates have taken it up as well and started a society at our local so it's as much a social think as a competition thing now with trips away and all day sessions on a Saturday afternoon

I play although not very often. I have been called a bandit quite often

I'm not too bad, can go round in about 20 over. Sometimes my play goes to shit as i try too hard. If i'm in a nice relaxed mood i play the best.
