hi guys i thought i'd add my project here its been ongoing from last year but i'm nearly there, i'm always open to any advise and comments, so here goes.
The engine started out like this
and the gearbox
so first thing on my list was to clean up the gearbox, agood wash down with gunk and a spray of silver and a couple of layers of halfrauds very own oil and petrol resistant laquer top stuff if you ask me
then i saw a group buy for steel rods and couldn't resist
at this time the car was still on the road with an xe in and a thought that the suspension was rather soft on the front when it came to roundabout so off came the gmax kit
and on with the avo's
i was using eccentric top mounts too so a bit of modding was needed
also when fitting the rear coilovers i had to 'adjust' the rear with a hammer and found a bit of rust lol so i had to get the welder out and underseal it

this is how low it'll go now
but it doesn't stay that low it is awful to drive.
next thing on the list was management and thanks to the guys at jamsport for a great deal i purchased the gotech mfi pro
just after it was christmas and my girlfriend kindly bought me all of these
then thanks to jav i got some +1mm valves, bronze guides, double springs
then trouble hit the cv joint went on the car so that was all the excuse i needed to take it off the road so i started to strip out the xe
mr postie kindly delivered this to my door
the car then went off to get the bay sprayed
this is how it looked for a while

i got these from rallydesign awesome price and stiff as funk
then i rang chris astley for these
the quality of the mounts off chris are great and fit awesome
as i needed every bit of space in the bay the rad fan would have to go on the front so i just thought bugger it i'll get two 9" fanslmao
and again chris came in handy when i ordered some solid mounts
i rang jav and ordered some more bits, his service is great and hes a really nice bloke he even bought me a mcflurry when i went to see him
gt3071r
i recently sent the block off to get bored, decked and have the squirters fitted
and with a bit of paint
pistons in
and thats it so far guys, thanks for looking any advise and comments welcome
