Well since weve been on here a wee while,i thought its time to start at build thread as the Corsa has come a long way since we got it.With still alot more to get done.
Spec.....

Car......1998 Corsa Sport 1.4 in Arden Blue(theeee best colour)

Engine.....
Dis-pack C20XE with F20.
Standard Sport drilled airbox.
Standard SFI box slightly modded to fit.
Ashley oversized 4 branch manifold.
Powerflow 2.25" centre section with de-cat and 1 middle box.
Magnex backbox.
Power steering with custom mount.

Chassis....
Custom mounts and shafts.
Gmax 60mm rear springs.
Corsa C SXI front springs.
Vectra GSI callipers and pads.
Fiat Coupe 288mm 4 stud discs.
Red painted hubs and callipers.
Speedline Allessio 2s wrapped in 195 45 16 Yoko S-Drives.

Exterior....
Fully de-badged.
De-badged slatted grille.
Smoked Depo headlights(DIY).
Astra MK4 clear side repeaters.
Bee-sting arial.
Factory fitted rear mudflaps.
Standard size plates trimmed down.

Interior.
Standard sport spec.

Now for some progress pics......
When she 1st got it,

On its 2nd set o wheels....

Then while at the scrappies i spotted the magnex rear box and the factory mudflaps.

Then picked up a set of Depos and set about smoking them.

Then a few weeks after getting the car i went ahead with the planned C20XE conversion.

Just b4 it went into the garage i picked up its 3rd set of wheel, the current and popular Speedlines. And also my de-badged grille came.

When the conversion was done it was mated up to the standard sport system and cat so as u could imagine it was holding back quite a bit.
So i set about finding a centre section with de-cat.
And luckily for me i was contacted by Birchieboy(cheers mate very happy :thumbswho had the much needed centre section and the manifold that the C/S was joined up to.Got this for a very good price indeed.

It lay about for weeks b4 i got it fitted, although after having it fitted i wished id done it sooner, revs much more quicker and picks up alot better too and dosnt feel strangled. Also sounds like an XE should.

Fitted a factory airbox as the cone filter wouldve just sooked in the heat from the manifold.

And heres some pics taken with a digi camera a wee while ago.

Still got loads planned too over the next few weeks.
Picking up a set of tigra clocks and speedo cable next week as mine are ellecy and dont work and i ka be assed fitting a transducer and hunting the scrappies for the correct plug.
Will also pick up a punto rear wiper arm while am theyr.
Also won a flat flywheel and clutch/plate on ebay so thatl be getting fitted soon.
Other future mods include Autosprint Cams,Courtney GrpN chip,Tints,Up-rated front shockies and stock-car rear springs,Original Vauxhall Corsa b tailored mats and a new bonnet which i kinda have anyway.
On the hunt aswell for its 4th set of wheels......Comp Mos.
I'll hang about tho for the right set in white.

Update coming soon.......

Well ive been waiting ages on my mate painting it and i finally got it back yesterday so bashed on with fitting it.
Off the car....

On the car....

Its been painted in Asbo Orange(Focus ST colour lol) and the pics look totally different to real life.It has the flip thro it and looks minted.
Bit mix and match just now but next week the plug cover is going black with either orange lettering on top, along with the "SFI" or i maybe just keep it silver.

I'm sure I've saw this around! If it's the one I think it is, (and judging by the pics it very well might be) it is fucking clean But now that I know it's an XE, I'll be staying back in my VTR

I drove the car in,picked it up a few days later and handed over £700.That was for the whole lot including the engine.

I am good friends with him and try to see them right if i can so that helped.

I went to School with Kev, he was two years above me and got on the same bus. He's a bit handy with the spanner

Well seeing as i sold the Speedlines to fund the new wheels i needed to get something to keep it rolling so on went these.......

So far thats its 5th set.
And with it lowered 60mm on 55profile rears and 65profile fronts, not to mention the fact they are unbalanced, anything over 30mph is a bit hairy.......
But i do have these to look forward too..

Which should be on by the weekend.
