Soooo who have you got and what are going to do against them?

We have sunderland who have a decent looking squad, we are missing a few players but I'd still like to think we'll start the season off with a win. Hopefully keane and torres can start to build a bit of a partnership. Benitez has said he wants the league this year, pleaaaasssseee

Think the team will have something to prove today after the Euro performance.

Gerrard will start along with Keane and Torres so will be interesting how we go about that.

We have Newcastle at home, all be it tomorrow, we should win, rooney is fit so if they play him upfront we have a goalscoring option.

My first goal bet of the season will be on either iverpool or spurs, swaying for the scousers as they are better value

We defo have something to prove after that performance, hopefully the extra quality will prove too much for sunderland a nice OG from diouf would be good too

As last season - they'll score a load but conceed more.

Its going to be hit and miss how well the new players adapt too, as with them missing Keane (and soon Berb) it wont be easy for them.

Bent has had a good pre-season though, I agree they will miss keane definitely. I really hope modric and dos santos are big flops

we have the hammers, we have zaki up front making his PL debut, kirkands back fit but sharners not fit, i can see it being a good game since the hammers have a few injuries aswel, i would be happy with a draw, but we have chelsea next so a win would be good to get a good start to the season.

We nearly went a week without adding to the injury list, but Anton isn't playing today, so that's another one to ad.

The pundits i've been reading today have either got Wigan win or a draw, so should be a decent game really.

Rooney and Tevez up front, AND Big Daz on the right wing

Shouldn't be too dificult, especially looking at Newcastles available players.

Unfortunately its was Houllier who always used to label each youngster with 'the next...' tag

Atleast Rafa now says to make up your own mind when you see them play, and the Liverpool fan stay well away from that tag due to Houllier!
