When the cage is made for J18, was going to get the fabricaion people to widen the top mount centre hole as dave a etc has done
firstly whats the diffrence between concentric and excentric ? and also any companies that are cheap to get them from ?
also need them to work with my GAZ coilovers, so dont want to have to machine anything

Concentric top mounts are on the vehicle as standard. The mounting point for the damper shares the same internal axis as the outer mounting points.
Eccentric mounts allow for camber and castor adjustment because the inner mounting point has a different centre axis than the outer mounting points, so if you twist the mount round you can increase or decrease the camber and castor depending on where you choose the top of the damper to sit.
Though the don't really allow you to adjust the camber and castor individually because if you reduce or increase the camber, you will increase or decrease the camber too...

As the are solid they are noisy, and if you hit a curb or something you can say bye bye to your damper, or even turrets because they have no VDF rubber in them to absorb the energy...

BTW James, if you want camber only adjustment, I have designed some solid top mounts for a Corsa that slide to give camber adjustment because the camber on my Corsa is about 11 miles out because of my silly wheels...
I have no idea if they work though

What are you plans for the car eventually? Its a lot of money for not much, and another delay for getting it on track! Or is purely going to be a show car?

i not completly sure why my car gets labled as a show car ? since it hasnt been to a show for 3 years ?
ive powder coated items yes, but the engine spec (xe tb's) and componants (6 pots/pedal box/coilovers) should suggest i dont plan to leave it sitting in a field, not matter how shiny it looks

not massive in terms really, only use a 280mm disk, and physical size ia no bigger than most alloy 4 pots
combined with pedal box/bias adjustment/balance bar should brake fine
also my mate (svm on here) has the same set up on his escort, which is similar weight and wheel base, and they are amazing on that, with no drawbacks
