With the launch of Sky Sports saw the majority of football go to subscription televison, then the arrival of Premiership Plus virtually took away the matches people wanted to see on Sky. Premiership Plus didn't last long and now Setanta are showing some of the big games, meaning I have to go to the pub to watch the big games. Its just been advertised that Setanta have got every round of the FA Cup and home England games. This is ridiculous! Are Setanta some sort of setanic organisation or something! There was a time when you were rest assured that the FA Cup would be shown on the BBC (Until it got juicy anyway!) and that England matches would be shown on either BBC or ITV.

Is anyone else getting annoyed that the likes of BBC and ITV, and Sky, who you pay for football are slowly losing all games that people want to see to a company that demands further payment to watch them! Internationals should be made available to all in my opinion.

Na I do agree though. I had to hunt down a pub that shows Setanta the other day because (for some reason) I wanted to watch the England game. Fuckers, I don't even know anybody that has it either.

Exactly, I can't believe the Community Shield was shown on Setanta, went to 3 pubs searching for somewhere showing it!

TBH I have Sky and I have Setanta anyway - so its only games on Prem Plus and thats not too many.

Sopcast, TVU etc...

Not great quality but watchable enough for me, rather that than pay £50odd a month, 3pm games too

I'm saying England, Ireland (Both), Scotland and Wales matches should be shown on domestic television as I feel its the publics right to be able to see their national team play without having to pay extra for it. Premiership, SPL, CL etc on Sky is fine, but I'm saying with the addition of Setanta before long their will be a subscription needed to see all sports, thus making it too expensive for everyone to attain all the football they were once able to watch.

Thats how the fuck I work that one out.

Honestly, if you are in a virgin area, just get the basic package, then buy a box from ebay, and there you go, sky sports, shitanta, all the smut channels, movies, etc etc

Save you all a fortune
