Almunia
Sagna Toure Gallas Clichy
Walcott Fabregas Rosicky Nasri
Adebayor RVP
Fabianski
Song
Silvestre
Eboue
Denilson
Diaby
Eduardo
Leaves Mannone, Djourou, Gibbs, Ramsey, Bischoff, Wilshere, Bendtner and Vela
It won't happen but IMO unless Diaby proves he can play as a DM then we may as well use the 2nd best CM we have which is Rosicky by some margin (he also plays there as Czech Captain!)
I suspect the midfield will actually be
Nasri Cesc Diaby Rosicky

I prefer the team you've put up to what Wenger will probably choose, would be deadly if TW14 and SN8 could both find form and if RVP11 could stay fit (he wont).

I just think Fabianski had a great pre season, and Almunia fills me with no confidence when dealing with high balls/crosses, whereas from what i've seem from Fab, he is very good in that area.

Edwin Van Der Sar
Wes Brown Rio Ferdinand Nemanja Vidic Patrice Evra
Cristiano Ronaldo Michael Carrick Paul Scholes Ryan Giggs
Dimitar Berbatov Carlos Tevez
Tomasz Kuzsazck
Gary Nevillie
Owen Hargreaves
Anderson
Nani
Wayne Rooney
Park Ji Sung/Darren Fletcher
Probably go with that. I think we'll see the strike partners being rotated a bit this season.

yeah but kind of free role, althought everyone complained about him being on the right before he done well and scored goals.
Plus him and babel can keep changing, and with alonso and masch in the middle gives bit more balance and stability.
I dont like the thought of playing keane out wide as i think he is wasted as he's more of a final ball player than a creative wide man.
Still think we should have brought david silva in though, he would have been the ideal wide player
and must agree riera on the bench and babel must start!

I actually didnt mind him on the right, he scored something like 23 goals that season - but still feel to get the best out of him (and possibly Torres) we need him in the middle driving forward and giving those balls to Torres as he was last year.
My formation isnt really with either Babel or Keane out wide, they are just behind Torres and both have more of a free role to come deep if they want, switch sides, and also play right up field, etc. And that allows Gerrard behind in that free role still.
