Seems a good price. Quite cheap actually.

Is that your budget? And is insurance an issue?

I'd look at a lot more other cars for that price. Namely Zetec S'.

Will do the job then.

What about Corsa C's? You'll have some change/spending money then.

i paid less on a 1.8 gl golf than it would of cost for a 1.0 corsa c at the same time. changed to the vtr which is less than both.

I have driven one a fair bit and my main gripe was the stupidly thick A pillar which gives you a blind spot on most right hand bends.

good point harrisp, im going to look at it tomorrow, only had a quick look around, didnt see any signs of dents or scratches, alloys are like new, but i dnt think the A pillar will stop me from buying one, but thanks for pointing it out though

My wife has the Design. If you are getting a Corsa Design get the 1.4 not the 1.2. The 1.4 is gutless enough so I dread to think what the 1.2 is like!!! But then I do get in it after driving my Vixxer so most cars would feel a bit sluggish!

Apart from that they are great cars, and the Design is very well specc'd.

cheers for that, went and had a good look around it, the girlfriend loves it, think i will lose it to her in the end lol, but yea i found it slow, very slow, felt the same as my 1.0L, that was a big let down, so now im looking for a 1.4 design, the girlfriend wants me to get the sxi, but i think the design is better, i found the spec good for the type of car

We went to the dealers with an Sxi in mind, but the spec of the design is so much better.
