Not sure if anyone has posted about this the other day?

I knew the jap's had this model civic type r, but this is the Mugen tuned Civic Type RR.

Despite being a 5 door i still think it looks great. Even better in white!

Weapon !!

237 bhp.

FWD - with good LSD (prob like DC5 LSD).

Strip it out and it'll be close to 1050-1100 kg.

I just think it's ace... I hope they depriciate a lot so i can buy one.

Looked and sounded superb on Fifth Gear on Monday night. Made the S2000 look slow-ish.

There's loads of these knocking about near me, not the mugen civics but the normal type r 5 door jobbys, fucking stunning they are. A local garage is one of the main dealers for them.

Danny the usual 5 Doors are JDM specs I have only seen one and that was up Central London. Screw paying 24k for a Civic

Handle brilliantly on Track! Was one going around Brands when I went not so long ago for Time Attack. Look great too! Shame the New Uk Civic's are utter shite.

hence me hoping they depriciate a lot.

I enjoy revving the tits off a car. Providing you just keep it in the power band it's not a problem if you want to go fast.

I have a review on one. You wont get one in the UK. Only 2-4 came into the country, the rest are in Japan/America.

Everythings custom. Carbon, wheels, the lot. If you smash a wheel up, you ahve to PROVE to Honda that you own the car. Unlike other models, where you can buy xyz from the dealer to upgrade the car, you can't buy anything off this. None of the engine parts, bodywork, wheels, nadda......

Last months Evo had a review.

Oh, that rear spoiler, carbon fibre (real).
That intake grate (below bonnet line), carbon...

Bonnet vents, carbon.

Rear splitter... Guess what, yup, carbon...

I'm surprised with how heavy this car is...

1240kg i think...

I guess it's the big doors / size of the car.

But still that is quite heavy.

Good point gareth, but I've never been a fan of evo's / imprezas / 4x4 turbos in general.

I agree though, the price of this car is a bit too high for what it is.

seen them for sale in japan, didnt realise honda brought a few in. even if you imported one it'd be a fucker to get registered as the model report would be for a standard fd2, not the rr, but i've seen allsorts of daft modified cars get sva'd so no doubt theres a way round it.

Looks a lot like the Teg Type R we have over here dont you think? Also, as with the way recently, it looks like a smaller version of a bigger car (Accord anyone?) albeit tarted up a bit. Still wouldnt say no
