Been plagued with disaster with this little car, but i love it so much im battling on.
Recently went to Lemass bodyshop (Tomnova off here) to have some work done by my car guardian angel Shrek
So heres a few piccies:
Take one brand new workshop and one z3 with a dodgy idle and warped brakes...

New bits to go on...

Remove these:

Obiligatory phone/cd/fag packet vs. size of disc shot:

Whilst wheels are off, fit these bad boys:

To replace manky old ones:

Random brake cooling duct shot:

Wheels on:

Uh oh rain started... (would cause me to brake down an hour later!! then proceed to get stuck in GX! )

Photo just for Tom (needs a good clean!):

take all of this off:

All done

Next things are:
New indicator bulbs, new USB chord for ipod to show artwork, respray and possibly a new roof!

Thanks Mike, cant decide on colour yet. Have thought about keeping as is, i got an awesome quote to just keep it same colour. Other options include alpine white and flip paint. But more thna likely keep it the same!

that colours awesome mate, and i'm finding white is getting a bit tacky now as it's on every car!
blue just has a lovely classy feel about it that will never go out of fashion.
ever thought about painted the chrome grille surrounds black? or do you like them?

Did it cure your idle problem? I have done that before and it cured it. I remember the air pipes being quite a tight fit to get back on. Looks good though.

£370
Fair enough re paint, spunds like it would enjoy a full respray then if you must change the colour it has to be white, although keep it estoril imo

Did you clean out the throttle boddies? I have known that to effect the idle.

allza: It did mate yes
Rich: The water soaked my air filter and also ripped off a rubber bung which gave me a big air leak causing me to overfuel and cut out alot
Estoril ftw IMO..
I want a hardtop!
