hids are ilegal unless you have projector headlights with auto height adjustment and headlight washers.

save the legalitys for the other 10,000 posts on the legalitys of HIDs
you will need a H4 Bi-Xenon kit for a corsa, and imo 8000k`s look the best

Pretty easy to wire in especially if they have instructions.
Only way they're legal is if your lights are projectors and have working jets fitted.

they are all illigal in Depos.
Ive never had any trouble in any car I had them in,
8000k was the kit I had, wont go wrong with a 6 or 8 kit
best mod I did to my saxo was HIDs

just to look ghey
you will get the most light from a 4200k kit
the light given off reduces the higher the number goes
6 is really bright white and 8 has a blue tint, 10 is blue/purple and 12 is just silly

12k is like a dark purple and gives off fcuk all light.
6k gives off most light, and is the most natural looking light.
Are hids illegal then? Ive just bought a bi-xenon 6k kit for my nova(normal headlamps)

Cheers for the responses guys . Would probs just go for a 6000k set. Can anybody clarify why they are only legal in projectors? Is it to do with spaced out light or can you sit the beams slightly lower or what? may sound dumb!

cause standard bulbs are weaker the lenses and reflectors are designed to scatter the small amount of light they produce into a large feild of light
HIDs are so bright the light has to be "projected" at the road so as not to dazzel people
