You've inadvertantly eluded to the exact reason he's been let off.

Yeah, that's exactly why, no other player would have got off that, ferdinand, carragher, gerrard etc etc

His dad should have wrapped up, or made him be a stain on the carpet

It wasn't a red, the guy had lost the ball and carvalho was there to get the ball, so he wasn't the last man hence they reverted the card. Fair enough decision i must admit as i hate the cunt

Really? That surprises me because the challenge was nothing more than cycnical. I figured it was because he was percieved as being the last man.

yeh on BBC the sending off was for serious foul play rather than professional foul (i.e. because he was last man)

It maybe, under the rules of the game, should not of been a sending off. But all this last man business is bullshit - they say Carvalho was coming across, but he would of left the man he was marking completely open - so infact it still could of been a goal scoring opportunity.

IMO anytime you make such an obviously deliberate foul in that sort of situation you should be off - be it a Liverpool player, or a Chavski wanker.

Also, don't the FA rules of appeal state that for it to be cancelled, they need to demonstrate it wasn't worthy of even a booking? And if that's the case, its even more of a farce

He knew he had been skinned and didnt want to accept that, he fcuking rugby tackled him to the ground!

Shearer got away with murder for years when he was captain, cant remember what ref it was that sent him off for leading with his elbows but there was a massive how har about it for ages.

You can't appeal anyhting if sent off for 2 yellows IIRC, even if you think one is wrong...

They were both bookings, but the first was the exact same as Terry so they couldnt say no if an appeal was possible

Agreed, its unsporting. I think obvious dives should be penialised after the game by video refs.

Was just blatent cheating IMO. He knew exaclty what he was doing when he pulled him down. Fair play to the ref for sending him off.

Not sure how the FA Expect the players to start respecting the officials if they are just going to scrutanise & undermind every desision they make
