Fixtures:
AaB Aalborg v Man Utd, E, 19:45
Arsenal v FC Porto, G, 19:45
BATE Borisov v Juventus, H, 19:45
Bayern Munich v Lyon, F, 19:45
Fenerbahce v Dynamo Kiev, G, 19:45
Fiorentina v Steaua Bucharest, F, 19:45
Villarreal v Celtic, E, 19:45
Zenit St Petersburg v Real Madrid, H, 17:30
I've got £16.54 in my betfair account, this week i'd like to try and get that to near £50+
tonight i'm looking at doing a double but can't decide which.
United & Arsenal = Evens
United & Madrid = about 3/1
United tonight are playing full strength team, but i don't know how Arsenal will do vs Porto although it is at the emirates. Madrid vs Zenit too but its in Russia, not sure how Real are on form at the moment

Don't bet on Celtic whatever you do, we've won 1 point in 15 away matches in the Champions League and are playing the leaders of La Liga.

I was thinking of doing United & Villareal but then i had the thought that if you've got 1 point out of all those games, your due a draw/win :/

United and Madrid looks a good bet at 3/1 .....think Madrid will be two strong for Zenit, and Man U should walk all over Aalborg

If there's half decent odds on Villareal i'd plump for them.
The best we can hope for is to sneak a nil nil i think but i wouldn't bet on it

I wouldnt back madrid against zenit, zenit will be the suprise of that group and will most likely qualify imo
United and arsenal looks a nice evens double, can't see arsenal slipping up especially after saturday
The aalborg manager has a decent record against united iirc, but they should be too strong

I would never back Madrid in europe, although they normally make it through the group stage easy enough, wouldn't back they away in russia.
Personally would go for Utd and (possibly Lyon, away at Bayern, would be good odds i'd imagine)

Man United should beat Aalborg by about 3 clear goals, they are no great shakes at all

Im finding it hard to find a partner to make a double with United.
Arsenal vs Porto is iffy, but Arsenal should win
Juve - can I trust them as again they only just back in top flight
Villareal - Celtic are due an away result which is turning me away from it
Lyon/Bayern - Don't know enough team news on each to decide who has the edge
Madrid - as mentioned by Cavey they are iffy in europe

I watched the Zenit match, they almost literally destroyed Madrid the entire second half.
They're languishing in the table but if they play like that in their remaining games they will almost certainly qualify.

I put £15 on Arsenal/United at evens
and £10 on Madrid at just over evens
I was 2 goals away from my 8 team acc too which returned £600+, I put Fiorentina and Juve to win but they drew!

Tonights games!
UEFA Champions League
Anorthosis Famagusta v Panathinaikos, B, 19:45
Atletico Madrid v Marseille, D, 19:45
Bordeaux v Roma, A, 19:45
CFR Cluj-Napoca v Chelsea, A, 19:45
Inter Milan v Werder Bremen, B, 19:45
Liverpool v PSV Eindhoven, D, 19:45
Shakhtar Donetsk v Barcelona, C, 19:45
Sporting Lisbon v Basle, C, 19:45
I'm thinking maybe a Chelsea, Roma double. Roma are priced at 2.5 on betfair at the moment, they have to win as they have Chelsea back to back. Bordeaux are shit at the moment.
PSV are priced at 10/11 on betfair too which is crazy high in my opinion, not as if Liverpool have been that consistant this season so far

Roma lost at home to Cluj, i wouldn't touch them tbh, but Bordeaux were pretty poor against chelsea.
Any english games on tonight, could match chelsea with them?

You meant 10/1 on PSV then... worth a quid or 2.
Roma, Chelsea, Inter, Sporting and Atletico, 14/1 on 5-folds, bit poo really

Surely not 10/11 for PSV Do you mean 10/1? If PSV are at 10/11 then id seriously be considering Liverpool to win at home as their odds should be similar.

No chance i'd be betting against Liverpool at home in the Champions League unless it was 1 of the top drawer teams they were playing and probably still wouldn't even at that!

I've ignored my advice and gone for trebles on Roma, Atletico, Inter, Sporting.
and first scorers being Vucinic in roma game and Maxi Rod in Atletico's game

I meant 10/1 but i pressed 1 once to many times my bad
Roma HAVE to win as they have Chelsea back to back next games, so they've said they need 3 pts tonight to still be in with a chance, and Bordeaux were pretty shit vs Chelsea, but i'm not sure dont know enough about French football to know their team properly.
'm doing a main double of Chelsea & Inter and then maybe a small acc of Chel, Inter, Sporting, Athletico
