Who the feck is gonna want to manage that piss pot team? Attendances of 11,000, team of misfits. Most boring team to watch in the world.
Hope they get relegated again.

I think Town may have had something to do with this...........
Ternent has been sacked this morning, and Boothroyd is favourite to become the new manager. He was 8-1 at 9am this morning & is now evens.

Its only natural for someone just been sacked to be replaced someone else recently sacked - i dont think Huddersfield would have been Bothroyds ideal destination

You say that, but Stan has only ever really managed in Lower League Football, and he hasn't really been very succesful in that.
Bootroyd did well at Watford before things went wrong, and IMO that was down to other factors than just his management skills.

Boothroyd got lucky that the players he had at his disposal were good at hoofball.

Stan nearly took Burnley into the Championship players 2 seasons running, missing out by 1 goal on one season.

I presume you mean Premiership rather than Championship?
Fair enough he had a good go at Burnely, but that was quite a while ago was it not? Football has moved on now & I personally dont think his managerial ways cut it in modern football.
Like I say in't other thread though, I think off the field activities may have just as much to do with him being sacked as the on-field stuff.

Yeah Prem even He also did a great job at Bury, he is old school and uses bully tactics (read his book) but I think he had something to offer Huddersfield.
