if online is anywhere near as laggy as last time, ill complete it and return it right away, most laggy/glitchy game online on 360 tbh

obviously never played Pro Evo 2008 online. I never had a problem with Gears of war online, and most times I played it was against the yanks

i used to play it alot then quit cos it was all over the place the were always patching it changing weapon strengths etc, sometimes u could be right next to someone with a shotgun shoot them and do no damage next time they could be on the other side of the map and take there head off.
TBH the reason that happened is because it used and xbox as a server thats why when the host left the whole Game closed
APPRENTLY Gow2 is suppose to be server based

 its slightly different to doom mate. its 3rd person, set a benchmark when it came out with its cover fire combat system.

started to play the original GOW just to get back into it the gameplay as I've been playing COD for the last 6 months
Got back into quite easily but OMFG... how glitchy was that game!
I hear people have already found glitches in GOW2 i.e. the slide glitch when picking up a weapon from the floor

Really is such a great game, even better than the first. Havent tried online yet but didnt play it much on the first one as I thought it was shit lol, best single player/co-op game on xbox but online was piss poor.

Gears was sooo much better than COD4 which I found extremely boring pretty quickly.

I as a massive fan of GOW but then found COD4 better as its more tactical.
however, I'm whack GOW back in the 360 this week and I've really enjoyed the basic one on one battles and trying to take headshoots with the sniper.
Out of GOW2 and COD5, its GOW2 which I'm looking forward to most atm!
Both games are leagues above the rest
