Anyone else seen it? Full on blatent, Morgan elbows him in the face about 5 seconds before you would actually challenge for the ball, worst point is the ref saw it and gave him a yellow
What gets my goat though is this thing where if the ref has given a card they can't over rule and ban him. Which crank came up with that idea I do not know.

Jamie Stuart went to court when he deliberately elbowed and broke the jaw of Chris Beardsley in our match vs Grays away.

Think he ended up getting off with a suspended sentence or community service or something else rather pointless.

It was an absolute fucking disgrace..... absolutely 100% intentional and totally uncondoneable. Deserves all he gets tbh and that's coming from a Blade.

Morgan is a proper old fashioned footballer and although he's an old man he's still an awesome centre half. Like the other year in prem when he got smacked in the face, mince pie swolen like fuck and his comment after the game was 'it's a mans game'. Was so refreshing to see in this day and age, scum like Drogba, Ronaldo or Gerard would have probably rolled about 60 yards squeeling....

Anyway, going off an a bit of a tangent but to summarise Morgan is a twat for doing what he did and he deserves to be punished

Hope he makes a full recovery, looks bad doesn't it. Morgan is a bit of a thug IMO and should get a hefty fine/ban for this. It's one thing playing hard, but to put someone in intensive care is shocking.

No where near the ball, so can not even make out it was a challenge how he only got a yellow.

It was a bad challenge, but you can't get into a situation where the length of the ban is dependent on the seriousness of the injury. The challenge was a sending off offence so he should have got a 3 match ban.

It's down to the seriouness of the injury that its got so much publicity, I'm sure there were several similar challenges took place over the weekend, where the other guy just got up and played on.

That doesn't look that bad to me It is a dodgy youtube video you can hardly see right enough.

He must have previous of being a thug because that type of up with the elbows challenge happens numerous times a season.

first look doesn't look that bad, its when you see it in slow then watch it a few times you see how deliberate it is. I'm all for going in hard in a challenge, or the fact that you get an occasional elbow whilst jumping but to intentionally do that is wrong. I have a friend who got locked up for kneeing a goalkeeper in the face after he grabbed his legs, they looked at his record of sending offs and gave him 4 month, will Morgan get that? I highly doubt it.

I wasn't even talking about Scotland, I was talking about the Premiership.

I'll wait until i've actually seen it on a normal tv or monitor but to me that happens week in/week out in the Premiership.

Are you deliberately trying to be a cunt?

The standard of refeering in the top leagues in Scotland is exactly the same as it is down south.

You're just coming the cunt tbh, have you ever watched an SPL or SFL game?

I doubt you have, therefore you should keep your un-educated opinions on Scotland to yourself.
