As the Fiesta is now sold, I'll start a progress thread on the BMW

Bought it a couple of months ago looking very very standard

Luckily though, the spec is very good for the model (320d)

It's got half leather sports seats -

Ipod connector, cruise control, rear parking sensors, auto dimming mirrors, stuff like that.

So anyway, I got bored with it within about the first week so went to BMW and bought some new rear lights, which broster and Warren kindly helped fit

They're loads better, looks a lot smarter now.

Then I had it remapped at Jamsport, which gave me a big gain in power, mid range torque and even fuel economy, so it now does this -

to a tank (the bottom figure)

Anyway, sold the Fiesta today, so I've gone and bought the car a little present -

a set of brand new, GENUINE E46 M3 CSL wheels and tyres, worth about £3k new, if you can prove you have a CSL.

Lovely.

Next up, I've got suspension on the cards, probably some Eibach coilovers, then I'll combine all the elements and be left with something not far off this

So it'll look a little better than it does on the piddly little 16s and massive gappy suspension

Love your plans Robin!

Rear lights are very tasty, keep trying to get my old man to buy some for his but having none of it!

Keep an eye on eBay for the E90 M Sport bumpers, will finish the exterior off a treat IMO.

BMW have just launched a teaser vid for the BMW Performance 3 series bumpers and stuff, might go for some of that kit, the 1 series bits were rather sexy.

Failing that, M Sport stuff is always the answer.

Yeh got a brochure on the 3 series performance stuff, the seats look sexual!

I picked it up when parents collected theres, hoping I could tease him into buying some bits!

They also do lots of nice carbon goodies.

Bit of a more sensible and grown up car Mr Marriott

There are nicer rear lights than that imho they may be the same ones as the staff car in BMW Car magazine though.

standard is 163bhp, now it will have 196.

Torque wise, it's gained 53lbft, so now has about 300.

These coilovers better be the ducking bollocks for the money Broster, a grand isn't shy for some springs and dampers lol
