David Villa has been heavily linked, but who do we all think they'll sign? As much money as City now have, do all these flair players want to freeze in January to March? Interesting.

I think the summer will see the biggest influx, the best players are still in the Champions League in January.

They'll probably be linked with absolutely everybody, unsettle a couple then reap the rewards in the next window.

I read a rumour they had a £130 million+ bid for Casillas turned down or accepted and he turned it down himself, can't remember

Kaka's not in CL and Milan have already upset him this summer with not letting him go to the olympics.

Touche regarding Kaka, he is a possibility! They have enough money to tempt it'll be about do they have the persuasive powers to show him they'll be one of the superpowers.

He'd also be without Champions League football for at least another season.

Maybe, but Brazilians are smart machines, they can see the bigger picture.

Villa, Ribery, Kaka are all players who are linked! and would love see them all in the premier league

I hope they get some good names! 20mil+

Buying 5-10m players will get them nowhere!

They'll sign players that are worth 5-10 million for 20 mill +

It's the 40million + they will be spending which will see some good ones come in, although i think they'll do well to get people like Kaka, villa etc i mean they couldnt even get Huntelaar

If they sign the likes of Ribery, Villa and Kaka then they are fools IMO... Ranieri tried tis at Chelski and hardly any of his bigname signigns did anythign at all... very foolish IMO

Can't see them signing Villa and Kaka, even if Robiho is a good tool to tempt the big names name. I think we're more likely to see them signing more players along the lines of Elano and Petrov.

Lets not forget some of the players already in the premiership - Santa Cruz is a certain signing for me

Has did AC Milan in the 90's.

Agreed Adge, I rate Petrov, his sheer pace is a handful for some teams.

Good point, maybe a few good players who aren't playing as much too, like Alex since he expressed his desire to leave Chelsea, maybe Ferreira also, Tevez would be a massive surprise but I really do see him leaving, he scores 4 against a premiership team and loses his shirt the week after, I bet he was fuming because his character will not accept that.
