Thought this thread was due an update after 6 years. Not Vauxhall I'm afraid. Page 9 onwards for most recent...

My XE Project
Not a particularly exciting project, but nevertheless - still a project and it's somewhere to record my progress...
The engine started came from a mates Corsa, here it is coming out...
Then left with this tired old XE sitting on the floor waiting for rebuild parts
Got it onto the stand ready to strip
Stripped and sprayed block, box, head and sump - head and block shown below...
Then started to rebuild the thing...
How it looks to date

Yeah, it sure is - eventually anyway.
Might leave it until I'm finished Uni as a summer project but I'm too tempted to do it sooner rather than later

Rings, big end bearings, main bearings, timing belt, water pump, head bolts, gaskets, big end bolts, flywheel bolts...
Probably missed a few things, but that's what my list tells me!
PVS is a fair drive, but I guess it would be worth it!

Most exciting update ever
Induction Pipe from the scrappy
And, a linkage from 'av it' - can anyone confirm this is a modified linkage; doesn't look very modified to me...
