As much as all of this is to be expected given the current climate (especially with motor manufacturers) it's still proper shit

I tell you now, the world is going to be a different place to live in the next couple of years, and I don't like the way it's heading.

It does all sound doom and gloom, but I agree this global recession is going to be a biggy!

wow, didnt think they would.

Not sure its 100 percent to do with the current cash problems.

Also the fact they have not been competitive for the last 2-3 seasons, they have just built a new car and now the wrc is going S2000 in 2010 so they will have to build another brand new car. That is also one of the reasons Suzuki have pulled from the wrc for next season.

Wales Rally GB wont be worth going to next season, think i will go to Scotland for the IRC round insted. The wrc will be boring next season. And where will Petter go ?

Wowzer.

Just think, their WRC exploits was the marketing campaign for the older Impreza's. The latest incarnation looks pap too. Bad times for Subaru.

I think you're right, an insider said Honda couldn't afford to fill up anymore.

Not surprised really, global recession along with there ability to produce an even uglier impreza every model change much have hit cashflow hard.

I suspect this will be only the beginning & more will follow!
