What does it do 
Flicking YouTube videos and there was one of it, seen pictures on Detailing World etc but don't actually get what it does. Is it only any use if you're going to go the rest of the way with cleaning, wax polish etc?

Leave the foam to dwell on the car and the heavy suds pull the dirt off the car.
After 5 - 10 mins sitting in snow foam rinse the car and the majority of dirt will be removed!
Works really well on cars that get waxed often or recently before foaming

I assume it would be a good idea on cars like mine at the moment where they are very dirty and if you wiped it you would risk scratching it etc

What do you use Dan? I've only tried CG Maxi Suds II that I had lying around so far and didn't make a right lot of difference! Some of the stuff people use on detailingworld seems to make the car almost spotless just from snow foaming alone  I want the same effect

yeah it's only really needed on cars that drive up and down motorways/shitty country roads every day and get gritty/salty dirt on their paintwork.
some people just like the fact it looks ''cool''

snowfoam's ace would'nt use anything else now tbh take it right back and get's rid of a bloody lot leave's the bodywork ripe for a claying after it and a mad polishing session

I did use Elite Car Care stuff but didn't like it much. Trying out BiltHamber Autofoam for next years product line up and bloody hell it's good!
Literally just got in from foaming my van which was washed 2 days ago and is wearing 3 coats of collinite. It's spotless again now
10 minutes work, didn't even dry it lol. Does the job of making my van look presentable on a daily basis!
Also works well as removes a fair amount off a dirty car before a wash mitt etc goes anywhere near it, so reduces risk of inducing any more paint defects.

Very cool to look at and helps lift grime off the car before washing it with your mitt.
Some people think you can foam the car, rinse and its all clean, but it wont get rid of all the grime, you will still have to give it the good old wash treatment after.
I think the onlu foam that come close to removing all the dirt is bilt hamber foam, very good cleaning power but works out expensive.

I might get some as there is so much dirt on my car I'm pretty sure it'll just scratch if I use a sponge, thanks
Any recommended ones? I have a pressure washer, I'll give it a go on that. I presume it comes with the nozzle bit you need

Well when you use this pressure washer you kind of don't mind paying £50 for something that you use on a daily basis which is useful
