hi everyone! been on here for a while now so i thought i'd put a post up of my car

spec :
.irmscher front splitter
.irmsher side skirts
.irmscher fog lights ( which i will get around to taking off sometime)
.tsw 15" alloys ( rubbed like hell and looked shait)
.o.m.p discs and pads
.k&n panel filter with drilled and de-restricted air box
.whiteline front a.r.b
.A.B.M front angel eye's
.spax adjustable suspension 35mm
.goodridge braided brake hoses
.ashley performance exhaust system
.colour coded bumpers and strips
.astra G side repetors

the wheels done my head in eating the tyres from rubbing in the arch (with a full car)
so changed them for some corsa c sri 16" alloys

was very happy with them looked nice and didn't rub at all
so i gave my car a quick wash and took a pic with the new wheels on

(old wheels)

the next things i will be doing over christmas are

.powerflex polybush kit
.rear a.r.b
and just a full service with it's timing belt being due now
should finish off the handling then.

will do an update soon as i get everything
merry christmas!!

comments welcome

just painted my plastic rocker cover, very impressed with the outcome

i used mat black base and sprinkled chrome/silver paint over the top giving it a sparkle kinda look and laquered it, then put the milltek sticker on and laqured it again. hope it doesnt bubble with the heat
i also repainted my front arch pasanger side as it had afew stone chippes cracking the paint so i did that too...had a nice christmas morning painting things
just leaving it dry for a while in the house now

just took off my standard inlet and going to take all the old black paint off it, see if it will polish up nicely
(half way through doing it)

there is some of it done now, taking a while to come off so i'll finish it later

decided that i cannot be bothered to polish up the inlet manifold and i was going to upgrade it in a while anyway, so just decided i might aswel buy an upgraded one now... so i started to pull everything apart and take off the throttle boddie.
(just started in the pic)

as i was at it thought id just take a pic of my air box to show you the holes i drilled

also got these to go on when i have done the main things

update on todays work

been really busy today took the rad and air con out and fiddled with some loom ready for the inlet
took the rest of the suround of the throttle boddie (needs a clean now)

then started to take the air con and rad out, didn't realised how much of a pain the air con would be, but managed to get it out

so that was enough for today leave the rest for tomorrow

(UPDATE)

i didnt manage to get the engine hoist today, so i cracked on with some other things so when i get the engine hoist the engine can come straight out once ive taken the engine mounts off
i started taking the manifold off, was a bit of pain trying to get the bolts off underneath to part the manifold from the cat. managed to get them out after about 25 minutes..started to take the manifold off from the engine then

started to rub back the lower slam pannel bit, quite abit of surface rust there so will get that painted up nice when the engine is out, will give the engine bay a good clean then get rid off all the muck then

also took of the re-circulator bracket as i wont be needing that again
(before)

(after) little bit more room.

will do an update sonn as i get the engine out day after tomorrow

comments and any suggestions or ideas
welcome
