I have bought several of these for myself and other. Can get them for around £7 sometimes on amazon, ebay etc..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LINX-HDMI-Cable-Premium-Plated/dp/B000H8TQL4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1232240240&sr=8-1
Even then some will say too much

No point in spending stupid money on a HDMI cable, as its a digital signal. Basically, either it works or it doesn't, its not like an analogue signal.

My Uncle bought a 37" Sony Bravia and DVD Hard Drive from a fancy TV shop near us and I noticed the HDMI cable they supplied with it was a LINX one so they cant be bad

Cheap one, unless you're sending it over a large distance there is NO difference.

Its a digital signal, so its either black or white, not a shade of grey somewhere in the middle.

if you save up your pocket money or ask mummy to lend u some money, you wont be disppointed, maybe the cheap cable i got was bad. But IMO the monster gives me much better results.

Thanks, but I can afford it myself , just I don't see how you're going to see any difference with the naked eye.

No offence , but I think its because you were told that you would see a difference i.e. like a sort of placebo effect.

+1
The only way I can think you might see a difference is if they have wrapped the power cord round the cheap one several times, you might see some interference or something.
Approx £10 should get you a very good HDMI cable.
*edit* id be interested to hear a good place to buy them online, since I may be looking soon.
