From now on each week in these polls, you need to state who you voted for and why. Constructive comments, both positive and negative would be appreciated. "I don't like it because it's stupid" is of no use to anyone.
With that said, here are this week's entries, this being the original image:
Firestate88:
Butler
d4za
mart08uk
Neo
complex_maze
The second poll for this week can be found here.

I was going to vote for complex, but since he used the arches from another chop, after he told butler not to use them i decided against it.
This week, I voted for neo. Its certainly not because its a good looking car. Its mainly because it was his first time brushing a kit and its quite an original idea.

my second vote this week goes to complex-maze as the interior looks to be well done and the wheels are sitting just about perfect

complex_maze, because it's the most realist, what I'd like to own, and easily achievable with a standard E92 M3.

i voted for neo in this one because altough it isnt the most perfect 'chop, i really like the fact that he tried something different by brushing the front end instead of just doing the usual bumper swap.

I'm going for Neo as well because it was his first attempt at brushing a kit and in half a day, and it's better than I could do. Personally I would have tried to curve the tops of the grille instead of the 45 degree bits, but he's also the only other person to go with different lights.
The spoiler's not perfect either, I think that if the top was a bit darker than the side it might look more realistic, but overall nice one for brushing it

Was that because of your arches? If so, i wouldn't worry aout it. After telling you, you can't use them, complex_maze went and used them too. If this was Digimods, you'd both be disqualified from the competition and probably banned from the forum, but thankfully cs isn't quite as strict
However, we can't make a habbit of letting people off for stealing from other chops.

I went for Complex, again its most realistic and accurate
Whats next then I want a full week rather than 8 or 9 hours whilst at work

I didn't use the arches from the other shop at all. They're not exactly hard to make so I wouldn't c&p. But I agree, they do look really similar to the other shop, so guess its a bit cheeky to tell butler off, sorry mate.
But for this weeks vote, I'm going to go for Neo, cos for a first time brushing it looks pretty awsome.

I've stolen from others chops in a few of mine but its usually an exhaust or the wheels, the bodywork is always my own work.

Remember to vote in the other poll too.
With any luck, complex is choosing a pic now, so we should have something to work with relatively soon.

I guess little bits like that are fine as they will have been taken from a photo, but whoever did the arches on the bmw brushed them, and the general rule is you don't use other peoples brushed parts.

I lined both chops up in photoshop and they're exactly the same apart from bits of the reflections. I'm not that bothered cos i'm guessing you just brushed over them which technically makes they your work, but still very cheeky.

I agree, funamental differences in butlers and complex's.....at a simple glance i can see complex hasn't moved the join line where butler has.

For that reason alone id be more inclined to say the complex maze did the arches himself.

I just find it very fishy that they line up perfectly. If he made them entirely himself, i think it would be very unlikely that they'd line up almost pixel for pixel.
Even the line were the rear arch meets the side skirt is the exact same shape.
The far side arch is exactly the same too.

How about...New rules come in, forget about it on this one, however in the future we just a) anybody who wants to entire must upload their picture on the friday, even if its not finished...still gives saturday and sunday to finish. This way nobody can claim anyone else stole their idea/parts.
Then if any parts appear on anyones chops come the sunday they aren't entered into the poll ?

This wasn't from a chop that one of us made. Butler and complex found it on the net.

Whoever created the original chop brushed those arches and did all the work. The general rule is you can't steal anyone elses work if they created it from scratch.
I didn't make it up, but i do agree with it.
