Buying your own premium phone line.. and charging say £1.00 a minute..
then getting pople to phone that number.. e.g. going to say a buisness and aking to use the phone, they say yes, then you dail your number.
tbh, I dont see the crime

If they are stupid enough to let you use their phone for some reason then I guess it doesnt matter if you ring a freephone number or a phone on the moon.

I would imagine that you would get away with it. There is perhaps something to do with obtaining money by deceit but I can't see it ever going to court, permission has been granted to use the phone line and it only has to give a legitimate service like some sort of useful information for it just to operate in competition with any other supplier of the same information, just yours costs more because the people who are making the calls don't shop around for the best deals.
Not looking for the best deals isn't a crime, and neither is using facilities if you've asked permission to do so.

Look on ebay. £80 Buy it now for a premium £1.50 line. You make 97p from that every minute. You can setup a recorded message via their website.
There's loads of other companies that go it if you check google.
