Fuck it. That's my challenge. I'm going to withdraw £45 a week and survive on it this month.

*With the exception of my rent and phone bill which comes out on Direct Debit

If you were earning £395 a week and still live with your parents you should have an enormous bank balance to live off.

Easy, I spent £40 including fuel after NYE to the 20th Jan. It's so easy to do.

no you didn't

add the yearly cost of insurance, tax, MOT, service etc and you'll find it actually cost you alot more....

Tax based on £170 per year is £2.02 a week roughly.....

They'll just claim it back in tax when you start work again Chris, I was on Job Seekers Allowance when I left school and they wanted it all back in tax.

£45 a week is quite hard to do imo, although I have a £120/month loan going out at the moment. Once that, petrol, phone and a couple of other small bits have gone out I have about £50 left over at the end of the month. This month I withdrew £30 and once it's gone it's gone. The other £20 went into savings. Have £11 ish left, and that's to last 'til next month.

When I rang them, though, they asked if I had savings of over £16k so they presumably don't care if it's less. I only had about £250 at that point anyway
