Todays topic of discussion

Limited to the decent sized nations, otherwise we'll be having some obscure bloke that played for Luxembourg during the war or something

I'll start with Rafael Schiedt; 3 caps for Brazil, signed for Celtic for £5 million and could not even kick his own arse, seriously

Marcelino Elena, still can't believe we payed £6.7m for the donkey

Edit - Or possibly Stewart Downing, I honestly don't understand how he makes it into so many England squads

I think Heskey has rejuvinated his career personally. I didn't mind Danny Mills and David James is another whos changed a lot of peoples opinions of him.

Do you honestly think that Broadfoot has probably been our most consistent defender this season, barring one mistake against Celtic at Ibrox where he played at CB. He has played at RB pretty much all year and hasn't put a foot wrong!! As a season ticket holder it really bugs me how much fans get at him, he would die for the jersey and he knows his limitations which is what makes him such a consistant performer. I quite like him, hes a big physical defender who is very determined and I for one can't falt the guy.

On another note, was Kevin Kyle not capped by Scotland

Christ I'm old enough to remember in detail when Taylor was in charge of England and even back then I think I swore when Andy Sinton was selected, and just when you didn't things could get any worse Carlton Palmer becomes the linch pin of our midfield.

Fucking awful, woeful players.

Vassell was decent enough for England, there's been plenty worse than that.

He doesn't really tbh he knows his limits Broadfoot, if in doubt put it out.

The McDonald one is the only one that sticks out for me.

Exactly, and had he made the same challenge playing at RB he more than likely would have got away with it. Rangers fans are far too hard on him, coming in as Alan Huttons replacement wouldn't have been easy for anyone.
