I've never been a big reader, my mum and dad have bought me 3 Clarkson books over the last 2 Christmas's
The first one, I read about 100 pages on Christmas night then didn't touch it again till March, read a bit more then it got left till September when I finished it off.
The second one, I've maybe read about 30 pages one night when I went to bed but wasn't tired and that's it. When I read them I enjoy it but I always forget that they're there or just think there's something better to do

Anyone here read Marching Powder? My mates say it great.

Read them all the time
Biographys - everything from Razor smith to Elvis, Fiction non fiction everything really, lately quite into the Rebus novels by Ian Rankin although im planning on reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy as i watched the movie last nite on tv and i came across the book in the house
is it worth reading or just the same as the film?

I read some Tom Clancy books now and again. I do enjoy reading, once I start a book I can't put it down!
Most of the books I read now are textbooks though. I'm slowly building up my collection so that when I'm older I'll have a specific shelf full of them

Most people generally say that a book is better than the film that is made from it so I'd guess it's probably worth a read

Read tons of autobiographies, buy them for my old man every birthday or Christmas then pinch them when he's done with them.
Only read a couple of fictional books since leaving high school.

i haven't read a book for about 10 years. I don't really have the patience.
I can completely see the appeal of reading, but it's not for me at the moment. I keep thinking of giving it a go when i go to bookshops and see a few things that look quite interesting.
I'll probabaly start in a few years, but it wont be any fictional nonsense. Probably crime books and gangster biographies.

I have started collecting design books. They don't have much text in them, just pictures and descriptions. The one I've just started on is the story of how the Guggenheim came about, that's actually got quite a few words in it
