Basically, last night I slid on some snow and whacked the kerb
Can't tell if there's any damage on the front but the tracking is definitely out. I'll let the pictures speak, just took them a minute ago.
Can't tell exactly what's wrong at the front but I'm not sure if these look the same:
It's kinda tricky to see in the next two but the third one shows what the back's now like.
Any guesses on what that'd cost to repair? I thought maybe just buying a rotbox for a couple of hundred and just taking the whole swing arm off of it and replacing it.

I did a similar thing, cost me £20 for a beam from a scrapyard, but I bent my stub axle too which knackered my wheel bearing.

Couldn't see anything obvious on the front, I was expecting the track rod to be bent or something but it looks exactly the same as the other side.
Tom that'd be awesome, I'm nearer Witney than Oxford though
I think the bearing's ok, didn't hear and grinding noises etc on the way home. Could make noises at higher speed though, you never know. I only went 10mph

Cool, only thing is I'd rather not drive it anywhere. There is a local recovery company up the road though and they have millions of flatbed transporter things.

Cool, how hard would it be to replace, or would it need to be up on a proper garage ramp?
Sounds like better news than I was expecting though, I was waiting for like "that'll cost £400 to fix" which would basically mean I couldn't renew insurance at the end of the month for like three months.

fairly easy to do, just need to disconnect brake hoses and handbrake cable so will need to bleed brakes afterwards, then undo the bottom shock bolts and then the bolts to the subframe and its off. If you come down to my place on saturday morning shrek off here can fit it for you

I'm in mums Ka today so I didn't spank the Corsa.
Anywhoo... I've replaced a rear beam before on another Corsa. Not too much of a pain to do, Just heavy and fiddly to get set straight!! Your one is Goosed - Must have taken a reet whack!
It will be a pig to drive though i'd have thought..

Don't think so, I wouldn't like to drive it for 40 mins because of the direction the wheel's pointing it basically moves sideways as well as forwards. I'll have to see if I can sort out a truck.
Basically Phil, yes I don't think I was going that fast, but there were three of us in the car and the guy in the back was on the passenger side so that won't have helped.

Fair play mate, not picking, but to you ok maybe easy, but to someone who may not be mechanically minded like Dave maybe not
And I can't see any scrapyard doing anything less than £40 for that?

Cool mate, will do.
The wheel's going to need fixing though, is that sort of thing repairable or am I going to need a new one?
Pow, I did Mechanical Engineering in college so could probably do it, but if someone who knows what their doing will fit it then bonus
