Awesome stuff mate.
I enquired about it a while ago, but the consultant said your eyes stop maturing at 25, so that is about the right time to have it. Going to wait a while.
How old are you?

Good luck mate - wish I could have mine done.
Cant put in contact lenses as much as I've tried, and because my prescription is only -0.75 they reckon it's too weak

I'm short sighted and mine are -2.25 which I think doesnt meet the legal limit. I wear contact lenses all the time anyway so will be good to have to not go through the routine every morning and evening...

So they could still sort them with a prescription like mine?
Yes I may aswell be blind without my contact lenses in! I've got the highest strength contacts you can get of the type I have so I'd be looking at glasses full time if they get any worse

Getting mine done on Friday the 13th of Feb
Looking forward to it but a bit nervous! Costing 4K but that's with Ultralase in chester with all the options like Wavefront etc etc and they have the best safety and results records for the country.
Plus loads of famous people go there

I'm hoping the dont quite 4k!!
I think I'm going to Optical Express or something and their literature states Wavefront is around £1200 an eye...
Would have to double check that though...

Its not the biggest or best article, but the metro covered recent advancements, and compared high street vs. London clinics.
Might all be obvious stuff though, my visions fine
