Went to my local scrap yard today and got me some bargain's 
i got...
-punto rear wiper arm
-X16XE engine cover
-Air box
-Tigra scuttle panel
-Tigra coin tray
-Vectra interior light with sun glasses holder
-Wheel brace
-Case for my CD player
-£3.72 in change...
All for £15! 
Whilst i was there i also spotted some MINT astra sport alloy's, 2 2ltr astra's (one had 135k,not sure on other) and 2 corsa gsi spoiler's, one in arden blue and one in the dark green colour(not sure the name) if anyone is interested there in altham,burnley!

the last scrap yard i went to was crap! there was hardly anything, and only 4 base model corsas that had been torn to shreds!
Was more french and fords than vaux as well

Ahhhh I love a good trip to the scrappers. Once found a bag of hooler hoops in the back of a car (salt n vinigar) nice little snack whilst going round. Gave some to the twat in the office! I hate scrap yard owners! Why are they all wankers!

the local one to me has quite a sound owner.he gave me the Tigra bit's cheap because i had to get them myself, in the snow and it was 3 car's high lol

fare lee scrappers is mint for corsa bits its in luddenden foot halifax MCDVAUX is there so he has everything for corsas astras etc

omega HID projector headlights with balasts and working adjusters
pair of omega fogs
3ltr v6 cams
horn
air compressor for self levelling suspension
full bose setup from elite omega inc. wiring harness, cdc2 changer and ccrt700 (even had the carpass with codes)
handfull of switches, fuses, and other randoms
all for £25
then sold it all for near £500

i got my mud flaps for my first corsa from a scrappies think they cost me £5 they are like new  still got them in my box of vauxhall stuff i stole of my last corsa before it was taken away

i got an engine cover bolt cover, 3 self tapping screws, a radiator bleed screw, and 4 plastic sill clips from a bmw 5 series for......

the guy said free of charge so they are not all bad, also saw a saught after m50 inlet manifold on the car which I may go back and get it prob for £10 and sell it to somebody that knows about them for £60-100

My local scrap yard, must be run by dick heads. If you come back to the office with nothing (because they have fuck all in) he gets you to turn your pockets out! I mean wtf is that about.....its not like I dont go every week!
