How can I get a normal song but with out the vocals?

I have software that will scrub vocals from audio, but if you want it to sound good then it's not much use. If you just want to hear the notes a bit better to play along to or something it might be enough.

Well my mate mentioned tha Act A fool by ludacris would sound quite good with no vocals. Tried P2P sharing, no luck yet

Audacity can do it, split the track into 2 channels, invert the left channel, merge the 2 channels together and 90% of tracks it works reasonably ok.

You can do it in lots of programs. I used to have an awsome pluggin for soundforge for doing this.

That's the vocals without the music. It's called an Instrumental as mentioned. All readily available on Limewire.
