Just got back from Dublin where I was working for a few days.

No matter where we were in Dublin, we were paying between £5-£6 for a pint!!

Taking the piss thats called, isnt it?

Even in Italy I was only paying E3.50 for a pint, and that was in a Ski Resort.

With the euro being almost equal it is shocking. I usually go to Ibiza as it is the best place for house and techno, nowhere else can touch it, however it was dear as fuck before and I can't see them putting the prices down much. Take amnesia for example, cocoon costs 60ish euros for a ticket, 10 euros for water, 10 for a beer possible and about 15 for a vodka red bull iirc.

There is a promotion on in Barnsley at the moment, (causing a bit of a stir) pay 1.89 for a short and you get a pint for a penny. Nobheads.

Likewise. I went twice in 2007 and even from June to November the difference in price was noticeable.

If you're buying booze in Amnesia you're doing it wrong. You should be getting hammered before you go in, there's enough bars with offers on around there.

We weren't, we was smuggling bottles of water in, pinching ice cubes and waiting for them to melt etc. We lived there all summer, there was no way we could be affording to paying that much for drinks.

Think it's even more in Eden!! Crazy! Although there is some smaller places that offer decent drinks!
