Well the old smokey shell has gone to its new owner and a fresh corsa shell and a new weld in cage and seat rails:
Big engine!:
One slight issue, it has a sunroof:
Had a sunroof:
Needs a new roof of some form now!
Then it fell to bits:
Metalwork out:
Its got EPAS:
Bulkhead cut for cage fitment:
Got 2 of these seats:
Chopped shit out of the loom:
Polycarb windows:
Proper big flange harry hockly hubs:
New FMIC:
Bits from the nova that are going into it:
And off it goes:
For a harry hockly weld in cage the same as this (nicked off bendys thread):

Loom is quite easy, removed all the airbag stuff, standard clock stuff, 1.2 16v wiring plug from the engine bay, fuel pump relays etc. Its like second nature now!

Hubs were £300 iirc, brand new and never been built but off someone giving up a build.
Now i might be getting the new roof bonded on like a CSL, will save loads of welding and grinding.

Thanks everyone.
If anyone is going for a weld in roll cage then i think you could do a lot lot worse than a Harry Hockly one. You get all this fitting info with it:
Totally spot on and far better info than the custom cages one.

I would fit a carbon roof if i could get 1 or 2 more members on here interested in them but at the moment it looks like a standard one is going back on it.
