So basicailly i purchased my self a x16xe lowered 60 mm all found with a batterd old k&n filter on. Nothing special. Sadly as i was 2 keen to take the beast apart i never got a pic of how it was when it came. But here is one of the beggining

So at the time it seemed a good idea to paint it myself in my little garage. It turns out now its done that it wasnt lol.

But i began smoothing bumpers boot etc.

whilst stripping it down to the shell. Removed the glass with a tape measure. Worked well lol

also purchared a rieger bumper off my mate ryan. Better known on her as rybo8655 which i never put on and i feel i made the right descision?

It came with what i believe are astra sport wheels on but i wasnt keen so purchased speedlines ans sprayed em white my self.

so the painting never went all that well. Mainly because id never done it before and i didnt know what i was doing. But here are some pics. ( Be aware pics make the paint look better than real life lol)

as you can see smooth post 97 bumpers. Now have a janspeed 4branch to a straight through pipe to a rage twin back box and a uprated inlet off flame on here ( cheers dude works ace). Also a pipercross viper

Thats all for now but i have a suprise up my sleeve for you all on my next update. Feel free to leave comments. Good or bad i can take it lol

Here is what it looks like now. Sold the spoiler to tomturbo whos car i cant wait to see. Gona go without a spoiler now as i kinda like it. But its all about to change. After being given abit of advice from someone who knows what there doing (Cheers Tom lol ) its all gone change. AGAIN!

glad to see a project thread beaver!! better late than never,weirdly enough the pictures look so much better than how badly it came out...fair play to you though youve learnt the hard way lol....im positive the new look will go down well when you reveal (get it done!!)

get some spirit wipe mate/panel wipe before you spray it better finish and colour, paint wont react with a good clean

You put the side repeaters behind the grill? so you now have 2 lots of indicators at the front? or am i missing something as i only skimmed the thread.
