Got my first ever flying lesson tomorrow
All being well I will be taking off in a Cessna 150
Never done anything like this before so dunno what to expect? Anyone else tried flying?

Ive flew a Cessna SkyHawk, I didnt take it off or land it but I flew it around for about an hour, It was piss
wouldnt like a go of taking off though and I imagine landing is even harder

i have and its fucking AWESOME!
I flew from Lydd airport... flew over dover docks and canterbury cathedral... loved it!

You'll be suprised how responsive they are. I was up in one of my friends a while back, he let me have ago, and said to turn right. Turned it just abit, and almost did a barrel roll

I did it from Cranfield airport and, apparently, did the landing at the end. Oh, and the taking off
Much like driving though, in that the instructor does all the difficult bits, you just push the wheel in the right direction!

Its quite easy. As a new pilot you will only have limited use. You won't be taking off or landing. You will control the plane in flight and its quite simply to actually fly a plane (yes, I have flown a Chipmonk whilst in my Air Cadet days).
Its the logic behined flying that takes the time to learn. Get that sorted, and then its all about getting man hours flying in the air.

Sounds good! I already know the logic just never took the plunge hence being scared But also think it will be good to help over come my fear and ask the pilot 94037693476 questions
