thought id make a new thread as its had a new life or two since it was last on the road.
car started off life like this. nice and standard.
few mods later and she looked like this.
then i while later due to a sideways fence related incident this happened
rear quarter and axle shafted. was going to get rid of and start again but decided to give her another chance.

colour of choice at the time was st orange. did a gash thing as well and got a carbon bonnet didnt suit the style of the car at all.
looked pretty good seeing as it was diy sprayed but when it came to flatting and buffing it was full of flaws which was gutting and the st paint is over 200 quid to do again so fooked that off and went for a different colour.

anyways after i decided the orange was shite i thought i would choose something nice and easy to spray so went for white. boring i know but it should look tasty when its finished. so far only done the main body of the car not got round to doing the other bits yet.
pic of whats going on inside got the buckets in and rear cage. need to sort out harness mounts and a few other things and get my boost and oil gauges wired up. need to find a home for the wideband display as well.

progress on the engine at the minute isnt much. so far using an f20 box with a custom fly so i can use a c20xe paddle clutch also need to get my hands on a diff to stick in before it all goes together. decided to ditch the mt32 box that came with the engine as for me it was far easier. needed to cut and weld chassis to get it to fit properly so couldnt be arsed. plus it weighs a ton and the kit is already there to fit an f20. just need to make the drivers side mount and its all in. running a nissan manifold with a t28 turbo on instead of the standard jobbie. still not sure what kind of power i can wind it up to yet as no ones really pushed these engines yet so will be running it pretty much standard power to start with.

progress on the bonnet needs bit more welding doing extending the middle section as well then needs grinding down and a bit of filler slapping on. fillered and sanded one vent to see what it looks like and im pretty happy with it.
