Please read... Im going to keep it short.
Was on lunch today at work and i signed into MSN - I had a new contact request from ryangeorge_252@hotmail.com. I said hello who are you? and he said he found me on Corsasport. I continued to talk random shit with this guy (things like how old are you etc) and he asks where im from... I told him to which he replied oh thats where my mothers from... He then said wheres your mother from? I told him and he went silent for a few mins... I then went to check my MSN email and it asked me for a password... I typed it and it said incorrect... i tried again same message... It then clicked............. My secret question was Where was your mother born!
So he obviously got that information from me - and used it to reset my password...
I luckily quickly reset it again and changed both my password and secret question to something better.
Please do not get caught by this bellend people... He said he was from Manchester and his corsasport username is georger252.

You work in IT Security and yet you willingly give someone answers to secret questions to potentially ID related emails
Not being harsh but you should know better

So is it this same person across the board?
I got a random add the other day from 'PhilJohnson86@hotmail.com' - just accepted it without thinking. However I met someone travelling with that name / age so I'm expecting it is him
however, I still think hmm, oops.
So is this the same bloke for everyone or not? time to contact police if it's 1 person, Ian should have his ISP details.

even if he asked my secret question the answer isnt the answer to that question
why would you want to hack peoples msn's?

yeh I know (naughty) when I was travelling, someone left their email logged in (so I didn't have their password).
I did a quick 'search term 'password'' on there emails and found loads of 'created account / password'.
found out his password was 'united1'.
Tried his email address in facebook with 'united1' and bingo.
I'd bet I could've accessed his paypal / ebay / etc all with the same password
I then logged him out and left the computer.
I know my secret answer is usually 'oiaseoigjsdopgmjds' I just hit the keys randomly
