well ive been on here since june 2006 and i thought i'd best start a project thread

i bought th car completly stand

then decided to put a fiat wiper on

after a few months bought some shocks and springs for it, small front plate and opel badges

then decided on a new exhaust and also de-wipered it as the fiat one was rubbish

managed to source some ceasaros for it £80 with four brand new tyres, and also stripped the rear out

did a ps of how i wanted it to look

after stripping it out the back sat way to high for my liking so bought some 90mm springs and got some mhws for it

stayed like that for ages till i sorted out a few engine probs then a set of bucket seats came up for sale so snatched them up

i still thought it needed something else inside the car so bought a half cage
6 hour round trip and ended up with this

set of delocked and cc handles came up on here

look a different colour but they aint car was just filthy

got some chrome interior handles from scrappy for £1!!!!! so fitted them

after xmas it needed a really good clean
before-

after-

then decided to make some diy depos

light isnt lined up in this pic

was at work and my boss came running over to me sayin some stupid women in a lorry had just crashed into my car, me thinking the worst ran to see my car, when i got there i went straight to the cab of lorry and she was crying her eyes out saying she was going to lose her job over this and we came to an agrement that she would just give me £100 cash so all was good. lucky for me she only just tapped it, put a big dent in bonnet broke my grill,

will update more later on

well was deciding for ages about what way to go with the engine, it was either 1.6 tb'd or an xe, thought about it and decided to xe the gsi

browsing through ebay i came across a cavalier sri and was only down the road from me. went i bought it and got it back home and started stripping it.
then set about buying the conversion kit etc for the corsa.
after i got it all i started stripping the corsa

it got pretty close to the floor

finally got the engine in

started it over with just a manifold on, my god that is loud.
stuck 2.0 brakes on and put bumpers etc back on

tidyed it up a bit

but hated the cone on it all you could here was it sucking for more air
so after browsing on here. i managed to get the standard air box on

thats it for now next month mot, tax and on the road for combe
