It has been mentioned to me a few times lately I have too many nice words towards my siblings on the boards, and one person recently asked why I mention them a fair bit when threads go in the direction of family etc.....
This is only light hearted and don't think I'm being narky but do you lot not value your nearest and dearest? Obviously you will have fights and fueds but that's life, I was raised to treat mine as my best friends and always have done.
Just wondered what the general feeling is?

I hardly ever hear from mine. There's 15 years between me and my sister, 10 between me and my brother, so guess I never experienced having siblings of a similar age to grow up with etc.
Sometimes its more like theyre just extended family.

I havent really got on with my sister for the past 10 years or so TBPH. She moved to Brisbane about 2 years ago.
if i'm totally honest...i dont miss her that much. harsh to say, but its the truth. Been to see her once and she hasn't changed one bit.

I get on with my older sister and her fella really well (she is about 6/7yrs older than me), but not really with my younger sis who is 18months younger.

I have two sisters and a brother, youngest one is 40 today. They are from my dads first marriage, I pass the time of day with my brother when I see him (Wouldnt go to visit) but my sisters have and will walk past me on the street. Tbh its the way I like it.
