Whats the longest any of you lot have gone without sleep? And did you notest any changes to you behavior and concentration?

Am doing abit of a mini experiment on myself for no real reason. Am now into my 36th hour without sleep. I am going to try and do 62 hours without.

Ive or ready notest that i had to concentrate quite hard while driveing, ive been quite snappy and not realy listening on the fone and my eyes have been feeling realy heavy.

I kind of feel dirty to even tough ive had 2 showers today.

I was told at college that some bloke in america did this experiment, done something like 11 days, then he thought he was a black american football player, even though he was a White I.T consultant lol

I've done a couple of days unassisted.

Driving when you've been up for 24+ hours is a bit dodgy though.

That's from experience btw, not getting on at you.

Went 4 days in my final year at uni as we did our final year project in a week Wasn't my fault, it was pretty much there and then the badger who was hosting it did one.

I found slower reactions and missing things the main symtons. Almost reversed into a lamp post and dropped my old Corsa into 2nd around 50 MPH as i wasn't thinking quick enough.

You wouldn't have to fall asleep and be dreaming away.
Why not have a couple of beers now also and go for a little drive.
Not bothered about you having a little experiment, fine but driving on the road afterwards is a bit stupid.

Not the point, your reactions when very tired are on a similar level to a drunk driver.

I've done 24-36 hours without sleep when at uni, it's pointless even if you have to do a project because youre fucked for days afterwards.

Learnt to manage my time better after that.

No, but I was saying why it's a bad idea to get behind the wheel when so tired.

Was a years work i had to re-do in less than a week. Paid off as i got through with quite good marks. Me and one of my mates just sat at mine for 4 days eating chippy food, pizza etc. Then had the only ever party at my flat the night we handed it in

I have to say, the day i got my results was the best day of my life.
