Posted about this before but I think I've narrowed down my choices to 4.
I want an all-rounder that can be worn to work but also smart.
3 of them are essentially the same watch but with different colour/strap combinations.
Watch A:
Watch B:
Watch C:
Watch D:

I really like A. But I don't think the strap is very smart.

It seems you can't mix and match which is a shame because A with the strap from B or C would be ideal.

You work in a high paid industry don't you James, i'd be going elsewhere, a lot of people notice your watch straight away.

Watch A, but the strap looks a bit of cheap rubber.

Well i'm basing my choices on looks alone.
After trawling through the Goldsmiths website (who do some fairly luxurious brands), they were the only ones I liked.
I'm not really a watch person so don't want to fork out for a Tag/Breitling etc.

Dunno but those armani ones are £300/£350 - don't really want to spend too much more than that unless it's really special.

So what is the ££££ on those?
If it's sub £500 I would go with watch 'C' and throw a Rallye strap on it, solid leather straps just make you sweaty...
I'm not a great fan of EA watches though

Most people don't tbh.
Don't listen to me, buy the one you like the look of because that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Metal strap EA watch is £350, other 2 are £295.
In that case go with either A or C with a better strap.
Personally (when I bought a watch in that price band) I went with a Victorinox, swiss quality (same make as the swiss army knives) then swapped the strap over. It's really a quality piece, probably the best quartz watch out there
Probably not dressy enough for you though....the strap was about £25 and really stop the wrist sweating and the watch sliding up and down your wrist.

thats the only problem with armarni watches they have fugly straps
I have wanted this one
for years but the stap looks shite plus i never really wore watches until the gf bought me a dkny one for my 20th last year which i love now and the strap is plain and suits the watch.
She was talking about getting me the above watch for my 21st but id want a different/nicer strap for it. so i think i need to look for a different watch lol.
