basically gf's brother is my age and he has just gone from a tdci mondeo which was fucked into a mk 4 fiesta 5 door thing 1.4 cost him 80 quid
now he says its faster then my astra (1.8) coupe up to 0-60 because my car is heavier and the engine is slow compared to his car which handles like a roller coaster on standard wheels etc
so can anyone prove my theory his car wont come anywhere near my car

You should go to the stretch of road. You know the one, that's exactly a 1/4 mile from the lights to the rail road track. The only way to see who's faster.

A mate of mine has got a mk4 1.25 and it goes really well for the engine size, its as fast as a 106 quicksilver.

Yeah, the 1.25 is quite nippy for what it is, but quicksilvers are fucking slow for what they are.

Ive drove a couple and they feel soo gutless and that coming from driving a 12v but the fiesta is about the same power wise but feels much better to drive.
